Al-Orooba scored its first points this season, after its 1-1 draw with Shabab Al-Ahly, in the match that was held today at Al-Fujairah Stadium, in the third round of the ADNOC Professional League, while Al-Shabab Al-Ahly’s balance became seven points.

Shabab Al-Ahly advanced through Carlos Eduardo, who followed a rebound from the post, after his colleague Mohamed Gomaa’s shot in the 28th minute. Al-Orooba managed to equalize the balance through Ahmed Musa, who followed a rebound from goalkeeper Majed Nasser in the 39th minute.

Shabab Al-Ahly pressed in the second half to try to advance again, and wasted more than one attempt, most notably Igor Jesus’ shot, which passed over the crossbar in the 79th minute.

While Al-Orooba resorted to counter-attacks, in an attempt to keep the point and seize a second target.
